What we do
RH3OVA assessments, studies and concept designs are underpinned by real-life DT fusion fuel cycle operating experience and leverage expertise in delivery of large engineering projects.
Examples of potential scope:
- Fuel cycle concept design for a range of plasma scenarios (pulsed or continuous)
- Assessment of the impact of whole-plant decisions on fuel cycle technical risk, including the selection of seeded gases, cooling media and other process utilities, plasma impurity tolerance
- Development and implementation of strategies to mitigate technical risk, including experimental campaigns and targeted development campaigns to increase confidence in scalability and lifecycle performance
- Estimation of fuel cycle tritium inventory, parasitic load and significant material costs
